Upon arrival at Kolkata Airport / railway station. You will meet our representative at Railway station and transfer to pre booked hotel. Please note hotel check in time is 1400 hours. Day 02 Kolkata – Ganga Sagar (105 Km Approx travel

Early morning after breakfast proceeds to Ganga Sagar by pvt car.Arrive Ganga Sagar at 1100 hrs Gangasagar is a charming tourist destination, which attracts both pilgrims and adventure lovers. Located on an island in the Sunderbans, Gangasagar offers the charms of an un-spoilt beach on the estuary of the river Ganges. Gangasagar offers acres of silver sand and clear blue sky, and the calm sea for visitors who would like to spend their weekend in tranquility. Also known as Sagardwip, Gangasagar is still unexplored and therefore unexploited. The island of Gangasagar is one of the most famous Hindu pilgrimage centres in India. Every year on Makar Sankranti ( 14th January), pilgrims from all over India, gather at Gangasagar for a holy dip at the confluence of the river Ganga and the Bay of Bengal. After the holy dip, the pilgrims offer ‘Puja' at the Kapil Muni Temple or Ashram. On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Gangasagar Mela is organized in this island, which is one of the biggest fairs in West Bengal. Gangasagar finds mention in many tales of Hindu mythology and in ancient Indian literature like the Ramayana, the Mahabharata, a novel of Bankimchandra Chattopadhyay and a poem of Rabindranath Tagore. The lighthouse at Gangasagar offers a panoramic view of this spectacular beach, from where you can enjoy sunrise and sunset. Day 4: Kolkata – Puri
Breakfast at hotel and day is free for individual activities or shopping. Please note you need to vacate the room before 12hours. We will request for late check out but it can be extended maximum of 1300 Hours. Keep your luggage in Clark room and Lunch & Dinner on your own enjoying shopping in Kolkotta at your own. On time late evening transfer to Howrah Junction Station to board the train to Puri.

The Jagannath Temple in Puri is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Jagannath and located in the coastal town of Puri in the state of Odisa. The name Jagannath (Lord of the Universe) is a combination of the Sanskrit words Jagat (Universe) and Nath (Lord of) and also, the word "Jagannatha" is evolved from "Jagati" (Oriya ) as an elevated platform or "Ratnabedi" on which the wooden form of Jagannatha, Balabhadra and Subhadra are worshiped on or the temple or its precincts inside the "Narendra Pokhari" and "Natha" (means "Lord").The temple is an important pilgrimage destination for many Hindu traditions, particularly worshippers of Krishna and Vishnu, and part of the Char Dham pilgrimages that a Hindu is expected to make in one's lifetime . The temple was built in the 11th century atop its ruins by the progenitor of the Eastern Ganag dynasty, King Anantavarman Chodaganag Deva. Day 6: Puri – Konark Temple - Chilka lake (Bhubaneswar)
After breakfast at hotel and proceed to visit Konark temple complex and chilka lake Temple is a 13th century Sun Temple (also known as the Black Pagoda) at Konark, in Odisha. It wassupposedly built by king Narasimhadeval of Eastern Ganga Dynasty around 1250. It has been built in the shape of a gigantic chariot with elaborately carved stone wheels, pillars and walls. A major part of the structure is now in ruins. The temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
