(30 min) Imperial Palace Plaza, Nijubashi Bridge  Admire the view at this National Garden that was formerly a private garden of the Royal Family. Enjoy the view of Nijubashi Bridge, which is said to be the face of the Imperial Palace, as well as the view of the Imperial Palace itself.

(40 min) Sensoji Temple & Nakamise Shopping Street - Senso-ji, Tokyo's oldest temple, offers plenty to see including the bright red Kaminarimon Gate, a statue of the god of thunder, and a five-story pagoda. The bustling street known as "Nakamise" stretches for about 250 m from Kaminarimon Gate to Senso-ji Temple and is filled with a plethora of shops. Ginza (drive-by)  From the window get a look at Ginza, where rows of luxury brand shops, and recently 'fast fashion' retailers, line the streets.

09:00 Hours (120 min) Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal. Depart from Hamamatsucho and head to Mt. Fuji by bus. (Chuo Expressway or Tomei Expressway) (30 min) Mt. Fuji 5th Station The bus will head up to the 5th Station along the Subaru Line. The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 ft) above sea level. At this height, participants will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds.
(50 min) Lunch.Enjoy lunch.  If you would like a vegetarian menu, please inform us at the time of reservation.  
(15 min) Lake Ashi Cruise  This crater lake along the southwest wall of the caldera of Mt. Hakone was formed by a powerful volcanic eruption nearly 3,000 years ago, and provides postcard views of Mt. Fuji towering 30 km northwest. Admire the superb view of Mt. Fuji from aboard a ship. (50 min) Komagatake Ropeway Take a 7-minute ropeway ride to the peak of Mt. Komagatake. A total of 50 minutes will be spent here, including time to walk around at the peak. Take a cableway ride up to the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles at the mountaintop. 
Hakone  Depart Hakone and return to Tokyo by bus. The bus may make multiple stops at hotels in the Hakone area.  17:00-19:30 Odawara Station. Tour ends after drop at Odawara station  Catch train from Odawara station to Kyoto. Arrive Kyoto - Transfer to Hotel by Own

Day 04 Tokuyo - Kyoto & Nara Tour

Pick-up service is available at hotels in Kyoto city.  All transportation on this tour is by bus. 
(50 min) Nijo Castle - A World Heritage site. Tour the historical castle completed in 1626, which was built to provide lodging for Tokugawa Shogun and as a palladium for Kyoto Imperial Palace. The impressive, elaborate carvings and decors in the Ninomaru Palace are a must-see.  Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December (Closed on the following day if Tuesday is a holiday.) If the castle is closed, or if the tour is during the year-end/New Year's holidays, Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead. (45 min) Kinkaku-ji Temple - A World Heritage site. The wooden architecture is covered in thin layers of pure gold and is surrounded by a beautiful pond.  (40 min)[Except Mondays]

Kyoto Imperial Palace -See the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was used as the Emperor's residence until about 150 years ago. On Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays, Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed. On these days, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead.  (Mondays, Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday, May 14-17 for the Aoi Festival, New Year's holidays, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event).  (40 min) [Mondays (and Tuesdays when Monday is a national holiday)] Kitano Tenmangu Shrine -On Mondays (and Tuesdays if a national holiday falls on the preceding Monday), this tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead of the Kyoto Imperial Palace. It is famous for housing the God of scholarship. This shrine's main hall is a designated national treasure. The shrine is especially great to see during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons. The tour will visit Nishi Hongan-ji Temple instead of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine on September 25 and December 25. (50 min) Lunch (Japanese/Western style buffet lunch)

(90 min) From Kyoto to Nara - Head to Nara via the Nara Keinawa Expressway 

(60 min) Todai-ji Temple (Great Buddha)/Nara Park  A World Heritage site. This is the symbol of the Nara Period and one of the world's largest wooden structures. Its huge main hall and bronze Great Buddha are impressive to behold.  (40 min) Kasuga Taisha Shrine  This Nara Period shrine is designated as a World Heritage Site. The deer of Nara Park are thought to be the shrine messengers.
The tour will not enter areas requiring admission.   (20 min) Nara Nagomikan  The largest souvenir shop in Nara. Enjoy yourself in this spacious shop and look for the perfect souvenir.
This facility may be omitted from the itinerary if it is closed on the day of the tour, or as a result of traffic congestion.   18:30- 19:30 Hours Drop at Avanti Sunrise Tours Desk (Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit)  Please head to your next destination on your own after the tour.

Important Notes with regards to SIS tours and others  

Dynamic Tokyo

1. If the minimum number of participants (1) is not met by 4 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date may be cancelled.

 

2. As the schedule of Sumida River Cruise will be altered during cherry blossom season (expected period: mid-March – early April), arrival time may be delayed.

 

3. During the cherry blossom season (mid-March – early April), the Sumida River Cruise ride may be switched to cherry blossom viewing at Sumida Park due to congestion.

 

4. Sumida River Cruise may be unavailable without prior notice due to river conditions. Changes in the itinerary will be provided by the guide.

 

5. The tour may visit Hamarikyu Gardens depending on the Sumida River Cruise reservation time.

 

6. Children age 5 and younger may participate for free, but will not be provided with their own bus seats and must sit on the lap of their parent or guardian.

If a seat on the bus and lunch are required for the child, please make a booking at the child rate.

 

1-Day Mt. Fuji & Hakone Tour (Disband at Odawara Station)

1. If the minimum number of participants (1) is not met by 4 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date may be cancelled.

 

2. Order of the tour itinerary is subject to change due to road conditions.

 

3. GPS-enabled audio guides are available on this tour in Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Thai, French, and Indonesian. Please make a request when booking if you would like an audio guide. There are a limited number of audio guides available, so it may not be possible to provide one for each participant. Also, no refunds will be issued even if the audio guide is unusable due to weak signal, device issues, Wi-Fi malfunction, etc. Please inform us when booking if you would like an audio guide. Requests made on the day of the tour will not be accepted.

 

4. If Mt. Fuji's 5th Station cannot be reached due to road surface freezing or an accident on the Fuji Subaru Line, the tour will be taken to the highest elevation point possible. No alternative destinations are planned when the tour reaches beyond the 1st station. When the tour has to turn back at the 1st station, or when the Fuji Subaru Line is completely blocked, the tour will visit Lake Kawaguchi or Fuji Visitor Center. Please note that an alternative itinerary may also be omitted depending on road conditions.

5. Mt. Fuji's 5th Station is typically 10 to 15 degrees Celsius colder than Tokyo. On tours from autumn to spring, please bring a coat and other warm clothing.

 

6. Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be cancelled and refunds will not be given for this reason.

 

7. If the Lake Ashi Cruise or Komagatake Ropeway are not running due to inclement weather or maintenance, or as a result of road or organization circumstances, they may be omitted and replaced with one or more of the following:
Mori Art Museum of Hakone Glass, Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone Ropeway, Hakone Pirate Ship, Narukawa Art Museum, Hakone Checkpoint, Lake Kawaguchi Cruise, Lake Kawaguchi Ropeway, Itchiku Kubota Art Museum, Hakone Shrine, etc., but this will not be used as a reason to cancel the tour, and refunds will not be given for this reason.

 

8. Allergy-friendly meals, etc. are not available. Customers with allergies should reserve the tour without lunch included.

 

9. After sightseeing is finished, the bus may make multiple stops at hotels in the Hakone area.

10. The arrival time to Odawara Station may vary depending on the season and the day of the week due to traffic conditions.
From Dec. to Mar.: Shinkansen departure from Odawara Station between 17:00 and 18:30.
From Apr. to Nov.: Shinkansen departure from Odawara Station between 18:00 and 19:30.

11. Transportation may be delayed by traffic congestion. Even if you miss your Shinkansen after disembarking at Odawara Station due to a delay, no refunds will be given. Please ride the next train in the Non-reserved section. If you plan on taking a Shinkansen after the tour ends, please make sure to choose a Shinkansen departing Odawara Station at 19:00 or later.

 

1-Day Hidden Kamakura & Enoshima Bay Drive Tour

1. If the minimum number of participants (1) is not met by 4 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date may be cancelled.

2. Lunch may be changed to a Japanese-style set meal, but this will not be used as a reason to cancel the tour, and refunds will not be given for this reason. Vegetarian meals are available and must be requested at the time of booking. Requests made on the day of the tour will not be accepted.

3. Buddhist vegetarian cuisine is vegetarian food prepared with ingredients such as vegetables, beans, etc. Therefore, other vegetarian menus are not available on this tour. However, in the case that lunch is changed to a Japanese-style set meal, customers who made a vegetarian meal request when booking will be provided with a vegetarian meal.

4. Allergy-friendly meals, etc. are not available.

5. Locations indicated on the itinerary may be changed due to traffic and operation hours. However, the tour will not be cancelled or refunded even in such cases. The following are possible substitutes: Hase Temple, Engaku-ji Temple, Kencho-ji Temple, Kamakuragu Treasure Hall, or Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine.

6. The order of the itinerary is subject to change depending on operation circumstances of locations to be visited, road conditions, and weather conditions.

7. If the number of participants exceeds 15, earphone guides may be used for the guide's explanations.

8. A fee of JPY 10,000 may be incurred if an earphone guide is lost or damaged by a participant.

 

AIRPORT PICK UP:  Narita Airport to Tokyo Hotels, Airport Bus Plan (Meet Staff at Airport Lobby) (2 People or More)

1. Customer information including the flight number, arrival/departure time, hotel name etc. are required when making a reservation When the flight information is not informed by the application deadline (Tokyo: 8 days in advance. Kyoto/Osaka: 5 days in advance), the reservation you have made will be cancelled.

2. Tours with ""Meet Staff at ---"" in the tour title include guidance on to the taxi/airport bus by staff, and tours with ""Staff Escort ---"" include guidance, and staff will ride with them on to the taxi/bus to their next destination (airport/hotel etc.). Tours with ""Taxi Driver Pick-up"" include pick-up by taxi with no guidance from a staff.

3. Luggage is limited to 1 per person when riding the sedan, van, or taxi. In the case that not all of the customer's luggage can be loaded into the appointed vehicle, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for luggage shipping or other service.

4. Staff may not accompany customers on the sedan or taxi even on ""Staff Escort"" tours when all of the luggage does not fit in the vehicle.

5. Porter service is not included, so please carry all your luggage on your own.

6. Customers may not be able to use a direct bus from Haneda/Narita Airport to the hotel, and vice versa, depending on the arrival/departure time of the flight. Customers heading to their hotel will need to either wait at the airport, or take the bus to T-CAT or Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo and take a taxi from there to their hotel. In such cases, the taxi fare from T-CAT/Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo to the hotel will be handed to the customer on the day.

7. After arriving at the airport, you may have to wait for around 60 minutes before the limousine bus or train departs.

8. If 90 minutes have passed after your arrival at the airport and you were not able to meet with the staff, the service may be cancelled. Please note that in this case, refunds will not be provided.

9. Customers will be informed of the pick-up time on the day before for transportation from the hotel to the airport, and between Kyoto and Osaka.  (direct phone-call or leave a message at the front desk). The estimated pick-up time is 4 hours prior to flights departing from Narita Airport, and

3 hours prior to flights departing other airports.

10. It may not be possible to provide the airport bus service when customers do not arrive in time for the final airport bus departure time. In such cases, the customer will be responsible for transportation expenses to Tokyo, Osaka or Kyoto.

11. Pick-up and drop-off are available from/to all hotels in Osaka city excluding ones in the Suminoe Ward.

12. Pick-up and drop-off are available from/to all hotels in Kyoto city excluding Grand Prince Hotel Kyoto.

13. Tour codes ND51 and ND5 are not available for flights departing Kansai Airport before 9:00.

14. Customers joining the Sunrise Combination Tour departing Kyoto (SCK6) who are arriving before 8:00 or after 20:00 are to come to the Share Taxi Ticket Counter.

1-Day Osaka Walking Tour (Round-trip from Kyoto)

1. If the minimum number of participants (2) is not met by 4 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date may be cancelled.

2. This tour uses public transportation with non-reserved seats. Please note that seating is not guaranteed.

3. As this is a walking tour, please wear shoes and clothing that are suitable for walking. The total walking distance is approximately 6 km.

4. The tour may use Osakajokoen Station on the way to Osaka Castle instead of Temmabashi Station.

5. If the Aqua Liner is out of service due to bad weather or other operational concerns, the tour will visit the Osaka Museum of History instead. If the Aqua Liner is unavailable on a Tuesday, when the Osaka Museum is closed, the cost of the Aqua Liner ride will be refunded by the guide on the tour day (JPY 1,360/Adult, JPY 680/Child).

6. Vegetarian meals are available and must be requested at the time of booking.

7. An additional JPY 200 must be paid for 4 and 5 year old children for admission to the Floating Garden Observatory. (As of August 1, 2016)

6. After arriving at the airport, you may have to wait for around 60 minutes before the limousine bus or train departs.

7. If 90 minutes have passed after your arrival at the airport and you were not able to meet with the staff, the service may be cancelled. Please note that in this case, refunds will not be provided.
8. Customers will be informed of the pick-up time on the day before for transportation from the hotel to the airport, and between Kyoto and Osaka.  (direct phone-call or leave a message at the front desk). The estimated pick-up time is 4 hours prior to flights departing from Narita Airport, and 3 hours prior to flights departing other airports.

9. It may not be possible to provide the airport bus service when customers do not arrive in time for the final airport bus departure time. In such cases, the customer will be responsible for transportation expenses to Tokyo, Osaka or Kyoto.

10. Service in the Osaka area is available for all hotels in Osaka city excluding Hyatt Regency Osaka.

11. Service in the Kyoto area is available for all hotels in Kyoto city excluding Grand Prince Hotel Kyoto and the Arashiyama area.

 

For Japan Visa

Visa Notes & Fees

1.     Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp. Attach all your old passports (if any)

2.     Japan visa application form : One visa application form duly filled and signed.

3.     Photo Specification: Two recent passport size photographs in gloss finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm) 
Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old,scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas

4.     Covering-Letter: Covering Letter from applicant on business letter head mentioning name, designation, passport number,purpose and duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by authorized signatory with company stamp and addressed to – Consulate General Of Japan , Kolkata
Please Note :
 Covering Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employed or on plain paper if Employed and For Multiple entry Visa, Kindly mention the reason of applying for Multiple Entry Visa.

5.     Financials : 
a) Foreign Exchange receipt or Credit card photocopy with statement of last three months 
b) Company and Personal Bank statement for the last 6 months.
 
c) ITR for last 3 yrs
 
d) Company Balance sheet
 
e) Fixed deposits/Investment Proof (If any)

6.     Proof of Occupation 
Self Employed:
a) Company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation.
b) Brief Company Profile.
 
c) Articles of Memorandum (Incase the applicant is MD/Director).
 
If Employed:
 
a) Leave sanction letter from Employer and Salary slip.

7.     Hotel Booking: Hotel Confirmation, Tour itinerary and Tour payment Confirmation.

8.     Airline Reservation : Ticket Itinerary

9.     Please Note: 
a) Personal presence of the applicant may be required
b) For each stay of 15 days with the validity of 1 or 3 years, multiple entry visa will be issued. Following are the eligibility to avail Multiple entry visa :
i) Applicant who has Track record of travel to Japan in last three years as temporary visitor
ii) Applicant who has ability to pay the travel expense
iii) Applicant who is financially sufficient and employed or self-employed.
